Swiss Diplomacy Championship
Hi Everyone, playing Diplomacy and discovering haïtian food ? It's possible !
The Swiss Diplomacy Championship that will be held in:
Sierre, Switzerland, from September 5th to 6th, 2026
In the venue of the board game club ‘Le génie de la lampe’ (ASLEC), route de la monderèche 7, 3960 Sierre, one minute walk from the Sierre train station.
Friday the 4th september, the board game club will be open and you are welcome ! I will be here to welcome you.
Time schedule :
- Round 1 : Saturday September 5th 13:00-17:00
- Round 2 : Saturday September 5th 19:30-23:30
- Round 3 : Sunday September 6th 10:30-14:30
Duration of the game will be 7 years. The ranking system used will be the ‘C-Diplo’ from Namur’ (https://world-diplomacy-wiki.fandom.com/wiki/C-Diplo_Namur_Scoring_System)

Going to Sierre :
- By plane to Geneva, Milano or Zürich then by train to Sierre. The Championship takes place at a one minute walk from the station of Sierre.

Welcome Friday September 4th :
On Friday, the board game club ‘Le génie de la lampe’ will be open to welcome you in a fun atmosphere from 8:00 pm, in the same venue.
Meal in common :
On Saturday evening, September 5th, the association Cap sur Haïti (https://capsurhaiti.ch) proposes a meal served at the tournament site, starting 18h00. Accompanying persons are welcome. The price of the meal is fixed at 20 CHF/EUR per person excluding drinks. Registrations are necessary until September 3th. On the menu, national rice, grio (pork), salad, pikliz, fried plantain banana. Vegetarian option available.

The tournament will take part in the ‘Tour de France 2026-2027 de diplomatie’.
The tournament will take part in the ‘European Grand-Prix’ 2026.

Registration :
Registrations for the tournament are free. It is possible to register for a round up to 15 minutes before the start of the round. However, registration for the meal is required and registration for the tournament is recommended beforehand, until September 3th, 2026 by email at: suissediplomacychampionship AT gmail DOT com
